  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Export Schedule Data to an IPMDAR File

Use these steps to export schedule data to an IPMDAR file.

Note: In order to export schedule data to an IPMDAR file, you must first select the IPMDAR Schedule Data option under the Publish Data To group on the Platforms (IPMDAR) page of the Deltek Acumen Options dialog box. You can export schedule data that you have imported from Open Plan, Oracle Primavera, or Microsoft Project.

To export schedule data to an IPMDAR file:

  1. On the S1 // Projects tab, in the Projects pane, select the project or snapshot that you want to export to an IPMDAR file format.
  2. Right-click on the project and click Export to IPMDAR Schedule or, click Publish > IPMDAR Schedule in the Publish menu group.
  3. Enter information on the first screen of the IPMDAR Schedule Export Options wizard, and click Next.
    • Project: Select the project that you want to export. This includes all projects in the workbook, with the project that you selected in the Projects Pane already selected.

      You can export schedule data that you have imported from Open Plan, Oracle Primavera, or Microsoft Project.

    • Use Current Field Settings: Select this option to use the existing field settings stored in the workbook.
    • Import Field Configuration From A File: Select this option to import settings from a configuration file.
  4. On the next screen, enter or select the other export settings, and click Next.
    • Contract: If you have previously imported a list of contracts, use the drop-down to select one, or click the ellipses button and use the Manage Contracts dialog box to add or edit a contract.
    • Contractor: If you have previously imported a list of contractors, use the drop-down to select one, or click the ellipses button and use the Manage Contractors dialog box to add or edit a contractor.
    • Export only calendars in use: (Optional) Select if you want to export only those calendars that are in use. Leave blank if you want to export all calendars in the project.
    • Configure Fields: Click to display the Configure Activity Fields dialog box to edit and configure activity fields. You must select a field for Work Package ID or Control Account ID. If you select a Control Account ID, you must also select a Work Package ID. Selecting a field for Task Planning Level is optional.
    • Custom Fields: (Optional) Click to display the Configure Custom Fields dialog box to edit and configure custom fields.
  5. On the final screen, provide the remaining information needed to complete the export, and click Finish.
    • Export File: Specify the IPMDAR file to which you want to export the data. You can enter a path and file name or click the ellipses to select a folder and file.
    • Append Month + Year to file name (MMMYY): Select this option to append the month and year to the file name. This is useful if you want to use the same file name every time you export because by adding MMMYY, it makes the filename unique.
    • Save configuration to a file: Select this option to save the field settings to a file. You can enter a path and file name or click the ellipses to select a folder and file.
    Acumen exports the cost data and saves it to the specified file.
